Greek Yogurt Tzatziki Sauce

Greek yogurt is a super food! It is an excellent source of protein to help keep you full, calcium for strong bones, and contains probiotics for a healthy gut!

Greek yogurt is also so versatile - it can be made sweet or savory, and can replace sour cream or mayonnaise in a variety of dishes.

I love having this tzatziki sauce in the fridge to add to sandwiches, salads, or as a dip for pita or veggies!

You will need:

1 English cucumber, grated

2 cups plain Greek yogurt (I love @chobani !)

3 garlic cloves, minced

Juice of 1 lemon

1 Tbsp olive oil

1 Tbsp dill (or 2 Tbsp fresh dill)

Salt and pepper to taste

Box grater

Plate

Paper towels

Knife

Measuring spoons

Spoon to mix

Airtight container

Place a plate with paper towels under the box grater. Grate the cucumber using side with the largest holes. Using the paper towel, squeeze as much water as possible out of the cucumber. Add to a large bowl with the rest of the ingredients. Stir to combine. Chill for 30 minutes before serving, if possible. Keep in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
