Energy bites

The easiest recipe for your Meal Prep Monday!

Preparing high protein snacks is a great way to hit your protein goals, especially if you are on the go. Once you make these energy bites, this snack stays good for up to 10 days!


There are endless flavors and ingredients that can be added to energy bites so you never get sick of them. More mix in ideas are listed below!


Basic Energy Bite Ingredients:

  • 1 cup rolled oats

  • 1/2 cup peanut butter

  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

  • 1/3 cup honey

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract


Directions:

  1. Add 1/2 cup peanut butter, 1/3 cup honey, + 1 tsp vanilla extract to a bowl to a large mixing bowl and stir

  2. Slowly stir in 1 cup of oats, stir well

  3. Add in chocolate chips and other desired mix ins and continue stirring until evenly coated

  4. Roll into small 1 inch size balls and lay on a parchment lined baking sheet

  5. Refrigerate for 1-2 hours before eating. Enjoy!


Make it high protein: Add protein powder for extra protein!
